I gave mine nuts as a child as a test very lucky no reaction,,,,but one had a reaction to Presertive not Presertives in juice but grew out of it by school age...

Tsk Merlin, and there was me doing my best not to make that comment myself ;-)

Nolls I think some children do grow out of their allergies if they have small amounts and build up resistance, my nephew did. :-)

Well there you go .... whatever next . Our gt nephew aged 7 had a dreadful reaction to nuts when he was abt 4 (he lives in Aus) and when he came over to visit last year I was surprised to see his Dad give him chocolate nut bar he had been told he was to eat nuts every day to get used to them? don't know how long that was to go on for but he was not to stop eating them under any circumstances.... Strange but True :-)

nut allergy sufferer who has been given a 'nut detection dog' who can sniff out nuts and alert her. Sweet little dog too :-D
