It was interesting and makes you realise just how expensive it is to train them etc. There was no mention of how that blonde girl's pet dog got on with the guide dog, hope they were friends.

I am hoping that they follow a puppy through from its first home and then onto trainging etc

Also would be interested to learn how it all started.

Wonderful dogs :-) .....,also the hearing and 'smelling' dogs who can detect cancer from their owners.

I have a friend who had guide dog puppies to train, her children found it hard to not get attached. She told me sad day when the dogs went to new homes, but very rewarding to have them.

Hi GB,

My Friend used to look after guide dog puppies to look after before they went for their official training. I think the programme should be interesting :-D There is a lot of work involved before the puppies start their training officially. Not all make the grade however

On ITV tonight at 8pm a programme about the Guide Dogs for the Blind Association.

Should be good one to watch
