Grumpy Day?

I am usually very happy, cheerful, contented , and will see the good and brighter side of life, not much rattles me. However sometimes, I wake up and it's a Grumpy day, nothing sets this off but I find myself having a little moan about simple things.

So far today:-

When I arrived at school this morning the main gates were closed with a large sign saying NO ADDMITTANCE DUE TO MAINTENANCE WORK. OTHER GATES CLOSED UNTIL 1.00 O'CLOCK . No sign-age to say where to enter the school, no one to give any directions. I saw the caretaker (now he really is a Grumpy man) walking across the playground, and he opened a gate for me (Moan moan moan).

Called in the supermarket for just a few items so decided to use the self service till WHY? I absolutely hate them! First item went through, then the voice kept telling me to put item in the bagging area, and I already had the item in the bag, stupid voice kept on repeating same message and I could not go on any further, the assistant came and said “Its been a bit temperamental this morning” (Moan moan moan)

Arrived home to find the refuse collectors had left the three wheelie bins across the drive, I
had to get out of the car wheel them down the drive, its a very long steep drive (Moan moan moan)

I HATE it when I have a grumpy day. I truly have nothing to moan about.

On a positive note I have just steam cleaned the kitchen........... I feel soooooooo much better now.

:-D :-D :-D

I don't really have grumpy days......I am married to Mr Grumpy, but lovely with it :-)

I do get down days when I feel a bit lost and miss my lovely Mum, but they are getting fewer and farther between, so all in all I am mostly a happy optimist :-D

I find steam cleaning very theraputic too Paula :-)

Love my occassional Grumpy Day - I think we all need them just to let off a bit of steam.

Like sometimes we all need a good cry

Both good for the soul and you will feel 100 times better after.

I have on occassion had to apologise at the checkout in supermarkets when I have been a bit uppity with the girls, but they are fine. I think that as long as you can acknowledge you are feeling bad then just get on and enjoy (in a rather odd way) and I also find driving helps as I can vent my spleen on other idiot drivers!!!

Aaah that feels better ....... <3 <3 <3
