Could someone please tell me HOW do I change my email address in my GR details?(or is my email address even on my details?) My comp was Hacked AND Scammed!! My dau saved the info,restored comp to factory settings,then reloaded info,and also set me up a new email account. Problem now,is that I have to go to EVERY site I use,and change email address! :-(

Go to 'Account' at the top of the page.
On the new page, on the left it says 'Change e-mail account & password'

have just done that,and entered my existing password several times,but it said it couldn't update any changes,as it didnt recognise my existing password.
I have used this password since I joined Friends Reunited,and then Genes Reunited!

Errol ,I'm dizzy logging in and logging out! When we did the factory reset,i had to update my windows..there were 122 updates! :-D

Sent email to support team.
I was surprised too! But we have a friend over in England,who works with comps,and rebuilds them from scratch....he said updates would prob keep coming,and that I had to keep updating till there was no more!

If you are using mobile internet (ie connect using a dongle) or have quite a low cap on your data allowance, just be mindful that the updates may potentially use up your allowance very quickly.
A solution is to go somewhere that offers free wifi if you are using a laptop and then run Windows Update.
Also, remember to download the latest updates for other software including security software.

i mostly use my own wireless internet at home....sometimes i use my ipad on train,as we have free wifi on train(and,i think,possibly bus)here in NI

the uploads caught me up Errol!! Put new security on comp...then got a whole lot of uploads!! Took ages and ages to put em on!

And could I say a big thankyou to Support at GR......I was struggling to change my email address,but keep my password,so i sent a message asking for help....got an email back,to say they had changed it for me!
