.....just had a nice drive through the Wye Valley, on me way to Chepstow, had to collect something from a shop. l thought sister was joining me today but she changed arrangements and l forgot!
Passed a lamb that had escaped from the fields, he was quite happy munching on the roadside banks, not there onway back, so hopefully he got back into field? ...had one or two drivers behind that would insist on driving tooo close, one turned off the other l had to pull over to let him by....grrrr

At Tintern there is usually a long horn cow in the field as you drive out of Tintern on the right towards Chepstow, but today there was a donkey instead ;-) :-)...could'nt blinky stop, will have to another time.

It rained most of the time out, but not a problem.
Saw loads of walkers tramping along the river Wye heading towards Monmouth, all student sort of age....now l know what you're thinking ...students can be all age groups....these were 20 - 30yrs ish .

On the way home l was listening to Irish music...things like "Danny Boy"....oooo l go all funny listening to it :-)

l'm now in the middle of cooking roast belly port strips covered in garlic and cooked with onions, the latter burnt and l now have black teeth...yummy :-) :-) :-)

off to dish up

jude :-) :-) :-)

PS....all vic had to do was chop the onion and put dinner in the oven...what does he do....FALL ASLEEP.... :-P :-P :-P :-P....but its fine, l saved the day again:) x

What a lovely day you've had hope you drove quite slowly to enjoy the countryside we live near the York. Dales and it is so nice to escape for a while , Hope the little lamb was ok . Now we are having pork chops with onions and garlic hope they are nice don't find the chops have much taste now-a-days and sometime are like bits of cardboard , but must admit these ones look nice hope so! belly pork is much more tasty especially if really crispy mmm!

I don't know if I shall be able to sleep tonight.

Maybe the one you saw caught a bus and ran away.

Or got in with a bad lot and started drinking Vimto.

Or worse still, took up gamboling in the meadow.
