On the short drive to the Post Office it started to rain, so I sat on the carpark until it stopped. A very posh looking car pulled up as I was getting out of my car. An extremely smart suited and booted Gent got out of his car wearing a neatly folded up Next carrier bag on his head. I couldn't suppress a smile when he tipped his "hat" as he walked away. :-D :-D :-D

I agree but it has left me wondering. Did he have hair and did not want to get it wet or was he bald? ??? I will keep an eye out for him :-D

Anyone remember the time when men used to automatically remove their hats when entering a building and those who would tip their hats at passing funeral corteges?

Ref your man in car park,,perhaps he was wearing a twopee and it curled up when wet....Regularly see a little old lady with a walking frame in our supermarket car park..A couple of weeks ago it was raining..She picked this frame up and almost ran into the store...We all laughed (there were a few of us in the park at the time)..One chap said If I hadn't seen it I wouldn't have believed it....Have a brilliant day...LES...

the only times I can accept wearing a baseball cap on backwards,
is either.........

to prevent heatstroke to the back of the neck.

or a welder using the peak to prevent sparks going onto his neckl

other times, sideways (Looks like a dope with his tongue hanging out........or angled, is just plain daft!!
