Aaah our Rose.....Machynlleth.....during the very sad April Jones case 100% of English news reporters couldn't pronounce it. Himself and I always shouted at the TV for a) their insensitivity and b) their lack of effort in asking how to pronounce it. |

to be honest some place names are very difficult to pronounce, but I do think newsreaders and journalists should check it out first |

Sue, it was very sad going through Machynlleth for the first time since April Jones went missing, I couldn't help but think, looking at the river and estuary, what a wide area the search teams had to cover, the tide was right out further than I had seen it before, which emphasised just how strong the tides are there. |
