Oh Chris, I didn't realise that you'd done that lol I must be a mind dreamer as my son used to say, he meant mind reader but it never came out right bless him.

Hope your o.h. realises in time to sort something out so everyone is happy.

Liz - for our anniversary this year I bought him into a syndicate - think he owns half a horse's ear!!!

I am betting with family that it will dawn on him when he realises it is my birthday within a few days of either event ;-)

Maybe he is planning to buy you a leg of a racehorse for a pressie, that's how people do it who don't want to or can't afford to buy a whole horse I believe?

My o.h. had written my birthday on his calendar one year as August , he was amazed when I mentioned a couple of weeks before my birthday what I would like to do on the day, he couldn't believe it was so close lol swore he had got it right! I think I should know what month my birthday is in lol

Leslie - as I have said - we think it is funny. There was a time when it took him over 2 weeks to realise I had changed my specs!!!!

Son just rang and asked 'has he twigged yet?' - rang off cackling like an old witch :-D :-D

He hasn't so far - however one year he did ask what date my birthday was and got stroppy when I wouldn't tell him!!!!

We (son,my best friend and I) think it so funny that 8 Sept has not rung a bell - he does love his horses.

My dearest OH!!!! My birthday is 8 Sept - whilst his a few days later. Yesterday he mentioned he had had an invitation to a Racing Stables in Sept and would ask gson if he would like to go.

I mentioned he had better check the date as gson would be on holiday part of Sept. 'I know the date - 8th Sept' says he.
I casually mentioned that perhaps he had best check the calendar in case there was something else on.

Got a bit shirty and said he knew he hadn't. Later on he mentioned that gson had rung and said he was free for 8th Sept!!!

Told son - he was in hysterics!!!!!

I would not stop him going anyway but I will tease him along and wonder when the penny will drop!!!! ;-) ;-)
