Have found a relative and i am wanting to find if they have any children . How do i do this ?

Researching:
Gowlett this was my dads name at birth . Would have been my maiden name

Might any of these people still be living?

If they are not living people then you could post on the "Find Ancestors" board with details of exactly who you are looking for.

If they are "Living" people...........then post on the "Find Living Relatives" board.

Hi Laura

If you go to www.freebmd.org.uk press search. Select births, enter surname and if after third quarter of 1911 mother's maiden name, select area and press search a list of probables will be populated.

If before 1911 check for parents on census records to see which children they have with them. This doesn't help if the children are being raised by grandparents but can be used to narrow the search.

Thankyou for your help , I did put it on the find living relatives and then from there with kind people helping me I have found the people that I hoped to find. :-) I am now trying hard to write a letter so that I may have some contact with them :-)
