Did anyone watch this programme last evening? It was really interesting to see a different side to Afghanistan, the people who live in a way that is way behind the times, have nothing to do with the wars and strife, but have an incredibly hard life. Their average life expectancy is 35 years, the women looked much older and so careworn yet were delightful and delighted to spend time with Kate Humble who has sheep of her own so could relate to their livestock.
Some of the stories were very sad, and the diet these people live on,well it's a wonder any of them survive, they have meat about once a month if that and seem to live on dairy products and bread, no veg at all and no fruit.

I recorded this, but haven't viewed it yet.

Kate would go out there as a presenter, but with with knowledge of animals and their needs, so I thought it would be quite interesting to see similarities and differences in lifestyles.
Looking forward to viewing this now.

I watched it, It was a very interesting Programm,hope she does more like them,pity that Springwatch did,nt continue with her and Bill Oddie,it was a much better show and the photography was better,the one that has been shown was rubbish,watched it once and turned off,too much of (Look how clever I amand posing.**M**.
