To die at 116 the thought is so scary

One of my OH aunts lived to 109 and lived in her own flat until her death. She was the eldest of 12 children and out lived all but one the baby of the family and 10 years younger. During WW11 she worked on Lancaster Bombers and was known as the best riveter in the factory.

I think the secret of her longevity was that she never married ;-)

Even if I was of sound mind, the frailty of one's body and loosing one's independence of living is the scary aspect.
