As a resident of Woolwich - I am horrified over all this Tit for Tat retaliation

The 4 teenagers (17 & 18) are a disgrace. What on earth did they hope to achieve (more rioting and trouble on the streets on London)? Or the murder of more innocents. I truly hope that they and their families are suitably ashamed. Would the really have been happy if they had murdered children, this was a school after all??

Lee Rigby's family have (rightly so) distanced themselves from all this hatred. I hate to think how they are feeling at this moment.

Extremists are extemists no matter what side they are on and rarely speak or represent the vast majority of law abiding citizens. They are certainly not speaking or acting on behalf of me nor Lee's family. And if these people who are supposedly acting on behalf of our lovely country, why do they feel they have to hide their faces (same goes for those on the other side)?

A truly abhorrent act

Have now vented and let of steam - <3

Nolls from Harrogate, if looks to me like an act of retaliation but that has not yet been confirmed.

Chislehurst is a lovely place surrounded by commons, woodlands, and open spaces, it is only a few miles from where I live, and it is the last place I would have expected something as shocking as this to happen :-(

Disgraceful that a school should be targeted if it's in retaliation then the perpetrators are no better than the terrorists...I am not saying that any other building/place should be targeted either

About 128 pupils and staff were evacuated from Darul Uloom School in Foxbury Avenue, Chislehurst, on Saturday.

Two 17-year-olds and two 18-year-olds were arrested on suspicion of arson on Sunday, the Metropolitan police said.

As Police Commander Simon Letchford said - It's only by luck that the fire attack didn't prove to be fatal.
