...............

Just a little reminder that it is Diabetes Week.

Dau No1 was diagnosed in Jan of this year with Type1.
As she is still in the early stages, controlling her blood sugars is a real challenge.

She is on her way to the airport for a 2 week holiday in Canada and the US carrying a huge supply of diabetic paraphernalia as hand luggage!

Thanks for posting this, drawing attention to Diabetes and the problems that can occur in later life if blood sugars are not controlled is a very important.

I know this only too well from my sight and mobility problems, in hindsight I wish I had taken things more seriously when I was first diagnosed in 1974 :-(

Your daughter may find controlling her blood sugars quite challenging, that said she will reap the benefits in later life from dealing with the challenge now.

I wish her well and hope she has a lovely holiday.
