A man who has fathered 22 children by 14 women has explained his rampant wanderlust by saying: "I just love women."

Orlando Shaw, 33, is at the centre of the most expensive child maintenance battle America has ever seen - and says his youth and love of women are all to blame.

He local TV news: "I was young and ambitious and I love women. You can't knock no man for loving women."

It is estimated that the State of Tennessee spends $7,000 a month to help support all of Mr Shaw's children in Nashville.

Magistrate Scott Rosenberg said that the dad would have to have three of four full-time jobs to come up with the unpaid child support he owes.

However, the father said that his criminal record makes it difficult for him to land a stable, well-paying job. Instead, he plays the Lottery in the hope of a big win to provide for his children!

He now plans to have a vasectomy, which he referred to as 'getting fixed,' in order to stop having more kids.

It goes without saying that after Mr Shaw's exploits, nominations for Father Of The Year are now closed!

Americans are very fond of their food - that much I have learned from my relations over yonder.

And they have some amazing concoctions too. The saying over there is that bacon makes everything taste better. For example, bacon flavoured milkshakes are readily available as well as bacon flavoured syrup & vanilla ice-cream. Or, if you prefer, you can fill up with chocolate coated bacon slices.

The one American 'stunt food' that caught my attention is the 'Double Down' consisting of a bacon & cheese sandwich with two pieces of fried chicken instead of bread. Homer Simpson would feel at home with that tasty invention & so would I. Bring it on!
