We only ever have a small amount of waste in our food waste bin, that is mostly chicken bones and a small amount of used olive oil or solidified fat off the roast. We compost a lot and eat left overs. |

I'm also a user up of left overs..think a lot of it is to do with being of an age when we didn't have all these convenience foods,so we had to be inventive to make delicious home made food...also we hate waste as I still do! |

I love leftovers better than the original meal. Cold meat on Monday with bubble and squeak made from the potatoes and veg leftovers is delicious ! And casseroles and stews are far better the second day. |

Either eat it or freeze it ...usually make enough stew etc for at least 2 meals so we can freeze one . |

We have five bins plus compost bin. We don't throw much away as anything (not that there is much) left over goes into compost or for recycling. Today we are having cheese potato and onion mash, (using potato's left over from yesterday) with toad in the hole and onion gravy. I have a Nigel Slater cook book he makes some fantastic food from left overs, and they are so easy to do. :-D |

Like PP, I don't have leftovers. My food recycling bin has things in it like bones, vegetable peelings, eggshells and other inedible stuff. |
