That's the only problem with varifocals, the angle you have to have your head or the book/paper which is why I often read without them.

Don't you think all specs should have a little device in them so they send off a signal to help you find them lol

Last night my friend called in to asked me to witness her signature on an application form. I said "Of course, just let me find my specs" A knowing look exchanged between OH and friend, who said "Paula they are on top of your head"

Is it too late? :-(

Join the club Paula - at least you are laughing about it.

I used to have trouble finding my reading glasses. They were always "in the other room". Then I had a brainwave and got some bifocals, the reading section in the D and plain lenses on the rest. I just wore glasses all the time. But the years have flown and I now have a distance lens as well as a reading section in my bifocals.

There is one thing I am very pleased about. When I was young, children like my brother who wore specs were called four-eyes, etc. That has now changed and wearing specs is "cool".
