Thoughts and prayers with you today and tomorrow, Dizzi. My OH is the same. Always know it is day her dad died (1994) by her sadness. I am a typical man who can hardly remember dates, but I am thankful that I really miss my own parents. |

Gwen, that's so sad and especially so close to your birthday. I was in my forties when I lost my parents and they were both 79 when they died so I did have them a while longer than you, altho many parents live long enough to see their children retire. |

Gee Gwen you were so young when you lost them both... and losing your dad only a few years after your mum must have been tough for you. |
