Dornier lift from English Channel rescheduled

For anyone interested, the lift of the crashed Dornier has been rescheduled to this evening due to adverse weather conditions forecast for the original timings.

I think it will be shown live on the BBC news channel today around 2030-2100 hrs approximately.

It should be interesting and will bring back memories of the Mary Rose being raised.

UPDATE:

Because of strength of the wind, attempt had to stop. Further attempt may happen at 1 AM tomorrow if the wind is calmer.

Shame - won't see it live now - time for a climb up the wooden hill to bed.

Had been looking out on the news for this so I too could watch!!! :-(
