It's hard for parents when their children, whatever their age, have difficulties to face, we want to fight the world if it hurts our offspring. I know you have supported your son through all these problems Ann and glad that now you are feeling less anger and can face life with serenity and peace. I do hope your son will have many good times ahead of him and and his wife, and you too, and knowing how much you have been there for him, he will know how much he is loved and valued.

thanks to all of you for being so supportive - it has meant a lot, and I hope that along the way, through various threads on this topic, that those people who have expressed doubt and poured scorn on victims have come to realise the full implications of this kind of thing and not be so quick to judge
