As soon as I saw the 'what's new' on Ancestry yesterday I was in there lol.

I spent much more time than I should have going through the records, and will be spending lots more time there as well :-)

If only I'd hung on!

I discovered via the 1911 census my gt gt grandparents had four children that had been born and died between censuses. So in January I set out to find them.

A twenty five year period from 1874 onwards in Surrey to search, and surname Walker!

I did find all four after narrowing it down to a short list and buying five certs (only one dud), but if I'd waited just a few months, it would have been so much easier and cheaper! :-|
