Well I have not been around on here much recently. Having come back from UK end of April after my mom's funeral - then it took me a week to get myself organised. Then this month the computer has been playing up so much so I could not use it. Anyway a man who knows about these things came on Saturday afternoon - spent about 2 hours and hey presto we are back to normal - whatever that means !!!

I have been up and down as May 13th my mom would have been 90 and we were going to go over to UK for that event so I felt very sad. But I know my mom would have said life must go on. Bless her.

Not this weekend but the one after we are off for a weekend away - going to Peniscola - been there a couple of years ago and loved it so hubby booked up the same hotel so we are going away as holidaymakers. Looking forward to it just hope the weather bucks up - it is so unseasonal at moment but no dount in a few weeks I will be complaining about it being too hot !!

Anyone heard from Dutch - just wondering how she was. Also Uzzi - I have not seen her around either.

We have been busy doing some decorating and must admit we are pleased with the result. Also have been decluttering - much to hubby's amusement. But as I told him I have learnt from clearing out mom's clothes etc. which took me 2 days - someone has to do it so it might as well be me.

so you weather is unseasonal - so is ours - still have my electric blanket on, but the weather looks set to turn a tad warmer and less windy for the weekend so here's hoping :-) :-) :-)

So sorry you have had a difficult time, and sad that your Mum wasn't around for you to share in her birthday celebrations, I expect she was with you as you thought about her, but in a different way.

Dutch is ok, getting a little stronger I think. I did have a thread about her the other day - will try to nudge it up.

As for Uzzi, well she's had a busy time too is no doubt recovering and sorting her Mum out lol

I am off to Crete tomorrow for two weeks, just hope it's good weather, I am so fed up with being cold
