My brother, photo taken in September 1991 just a couple of weeks before he died. ............................................................ To help us and to get better results, please post as much detail as you can, especially name, date(s) and place. Also say what you already know.

To find out when the business was trading, you could ask Kendall Archive Centre as they may have Trade Directories

Similarly Lancaster County Archives

They may wish to make a charge for research

You may also be able to roughly date the photos from the style of dress - there are a number of sites from an internet search to give you guidance eg

There seem to be quite a few references to him



your chance of someone just happening to see this post is pretty slim .................. a very low percentage of GR embers use these Boards, and even they ted not to trawl through the threads looming for possible links.

hello every one do any of you know when the photographer G WYNSPEARE HERBERT were trading from and till in kendal and lancaster please i have some old photographs from the casson and troughton familys i dont know who the are they were left to me after a aunt died a lot of the photos were taken by the above said photographer if any one is linked to the troughton and casson and garnett ffrom kendal i would like to know as some one must know who these people on the photographs are please help
