Just a silly question.

Is your doctor's surgery open today and seeing patients.??????

Told you it was a silly question.

I phoned the surgery this morning at 8-30am eventually got an answer at 8-50am.

Asked which doctors were on duty today.

Reply was 2 doctors om all day as they are only doing TRIAGE.

Doctor phoned back 1 hour later and I told her that I am in agony every morning when I am getting out of bed.(Inflamation of the left hip.)

I have had an injection in the hip 10th May under Ultrasound scan.

Dr that gave the injection said a week and there won't be any pain.Haha.

It is worse now that before the injection.

She said that she would ring the orthopeadiac Surgeon to see what he can suggest and she will ring back this pm.

She has offered me Patches for the paiin but she has to ring the O S before she can write a script.

Does your doctors do Triage.

Sue we never seem to have more than 2 on though there are abt 8/10 on the list but they now have 3 surgeries ....being greedy I suppose wanting more patients?? you should lie on the ground outside and let them take you to hosp? Hope you get sorted out x

Dawnie..

Love what Zoe says..if children the word would be frightening..

Hope Zoe is ok...and your other 2 headaches are too.

Nolls.

Doc has just phoned and told me now I can't have the patches so she is waiting to hear from the pain clinic to see what I can take.
That will be any time from Now for the next month or so...

Won't hold my breath.

I think I would ask for an MRI Scan I got one for same problem

Mine calls itself a Medical Centre and is open as usual today.

Sue - My guess would be that Triage is being used as a new fancy word for Emergencies. As they rang back you were obviously classified as important. I hope you feel better soon.

Nolls I aksed her the first time she phoned that I think I needed an MRI scan

Andysmum.

The receptionist was taking names and phone numbers and then the doctors were giving appointments to people they thought needed one.

What a way to run a surgery ..
NHS gone to the dogs.

Sue
other 2 headaches and hubby got bad colds bordering on flu as they ache so much I am the only one who is ok (apart from normal stuff) .

After Zoes blood test popped to eldest ones to make sure she was ok hate it when shes ill and shes not at home anymore for me to look after.

Lucky you getting the patches pain clinic precribed them for me but was in a different county and ours wouldnt let dr give them to me as our county dont like prescribing them.

Dawnie..

At least the 2 headaches and Hubby are all ill at once with rotten cold/flu and they aren't going down with it one after the other.

Hugs for all your poorly patients and of Course for Nurse Dawnie..

I cannot now have to Patches as I have C O P D and I aren't allowed anything with Morphine in .

Hugs

thats a shame they are meant to be good, I can take morphine capsules but cant take liquid morphine as get too many side effects as body absorbs it too quickly.

Would be nice if life was easy and one pill fixed all wouldnt it
