:-D Idiots! Shows what a waste of money they are.

Then there's the 10 month old Identical twins with Downs Syndrome. One was awarded disability benefit, the other wasn't!!

I happened to visit The ATOS Occupational Health website and found this:

Our specialist teams can help you with services including:
stress and musculoskeletal management, physiotherapy and
rehabilitation. We set the standard for managing attendance, returning more people to work faster and healthier.

From an Occupational Health website:

Occupational health referrals are intended to see what adjustments may need to be made to support you at work

Slight difference in ideals methinks!!

May explain why, when I was sent to OH, it was suggested I take extra strong painkillers to hide the pain, so I could still go to work!!
The 'pain' was caused by diverticulitis - an infection in the gut, and extra strong painkillers (that can cause, apart from addiction, constipation) are the last thing anyone with a gut infection needs!!

I tried her 'remedy', and ended up like a drunk, slurring, and unable to walk straight. As for being able to work...........
Well, at least I turned up, until the doctor phoned to confirm the diverticulitis (rather than a kidney infection - the pain is siimilar) and demanded I went home NOW!!
