PP - some time ago lists/menus with prices were published and the items mentioned would be served in top class restaurants but at possibly Sainsbury prices - big big difference and then they probably put that down to expenses - look after the pennies and the pounds will look after themselves!!

Somewhere in the uk there is bound to be a lot more older than me - therefore I am young compared to them.!

Whilst I am all for curbing our MPs exhorbitant expenses claims the subsidised bar & restaurant at Westminster is really no different to employees at somewhere like Sainsburys getting staff discounts. Or very large firms which also have subsidised canteens.

So this is to me a small drop in the ocean.
