ChrisofWessex Report 8 May 2013 22:36

I watched six o'clock news on BBC tonight and I learned of a football manager's retirement and that of Prince Philip and the 70th anniversary of the North Atlantic War. Viewers visited the war rooms underground H.Qs in Liverpool and were reminded that 5,000 merchant ships were lost and 30,000 merchant men during this time.

Other items of news were read and then the reader said to return to the main item of the news - the football manager.

I am miffed.
