I read my Street Cat called Bob a couple of weeks ago, and loved it! I bought copies for a couple of people for Christmas and treated myself to one as well but hadn't had time to read it sooner. It's a lovely story. Just been looking at Gumtree for our area, the number of cats for rehoming as people having to move and not be able to take pets is very sad, were I in a position to have another cat I would take one or more of them but it isn't suitable here. Shame so many people keep letting their cats have litters, as they are trying to sell or give away kittens on the site too.
I will have a look for that book too

Am really glad that someone else read that lovely book. I am a real cat/dog lover, so am pleased with all great books about out beloved pets.I didn't know there was a children's version of this. Will still give the adult version to one of my g.children, who is good in English.

I really loved "A Street Cat Called Bob", and now the author has brought out a children's version, so I think I'll buy it for my animal crazy grandaughter.

I bought a book called 'A Street Cat Called Bob', when I was in the UK a coulple of weeks ago...wonderful, uplifting book!! Had read about this on YT some time ago, wanted to buy iit, so was delighted to find it in a bookstore that offered 'buy one book, get the second one half price' such a lovely book, makes me soooo cheerful reading it.A real MUST for cat lovers. I will look out for the boom you mention R.T.R....Love any books to do with cats/dogs.

Lost Cat: A True Story of Love, Desperation, and GPS Technology

I found this in Sainsbury's but bought it in our local bookstore. I expect it is still cheaper on Amazon but I like real books stores.

Anyway it is different, quirky and fun.
