The school my grandchildren go to has a blog for each class with Youtube video's of each days key activities.
Isn't technology great - it is like being in the classroom with them - I'm signed up as a follower.

Just recieved the days posting for my 6 year old grandaughter
The topic today was still life pictures in the style of Paul Cezanne.

What a subject for a 6 year old - See them all sitting there working on their pictures of flowers and fruit - Oh heck I'm just a proud nanny

Technology is incredible and I think the Youtube thing is wonderful.
I work at the library and a woman comes in every week and takes out a big batch infant/children's books.
Knowing that her daughter and grandchildren have now moved to the other end of the country, I asked her if the children have come to visit

She told me that she Skypes every night to read them their bedtime story, just as she did when they lived here! <3 <3

Kuros,

Your story about the Inspector and the Sunflower paintings reminded me of when my grandson had to copy a picture, his choice was actually 'The Scream' :-D
