terrorists arrested in Canada

Two terrorists have just been arrested in Canada, as a result of joint investigations by Canadian and US security and the RCMP

Alleged that Al Queda-backed men were planning on planting an explosive device on .................................... a train!

Specifically, the Via Rail train from Toronto to New York.

Via Rail is the Canadian passenger rail service, mainly within in Canada, but with a couple of trains to stations below the line to the US.


It's the train we take on average once a year to and from Nova Scotia and BC


There is of course little security when boarding a train ....... no scanners (luggage or body, etc) :-0

No security at lots of places. Public transport, shopping centres, theatres, sporting events ~ everywhere crowds of people are.... I hate to think they would target a school.

These lunatics are trying to make everyone too frightened to leave their homes.

It's scary, but that's what 'they' want, to interfere with our everyday lives. I am glad those terrorists were apprehended before more deaths and injuries were caused.
