The gun looks like a scaled down version of the GAU 8/A Avenger 7 barrel 30mm 4,200 rpm cannon which was nicknamed the tank buster and is fitted to the A10, so powerful the aircraft would stall mid air, So they can only fire it in short bursts, A very deadly weapon system |

Never fired the GPMP. Used the good old trusty Bren a lot, however! |

We still had the bren but it was used more in NI because of its accuracy |
