My oracle tells me.

Average because it depends on how big the photos are.

One photo = 3 megs
4 Gigabyte flash drive = 4000 meg.

Therfore divide 400 by three = roughly 1333 photos.

Depends entirely on the resolution and format - what resolution is the camera?
Or are they scans?

~`*`Jude`*`~ Report 18 Apr 2013 16:40

Errol...thats what l thought, thanks.

Would you recommend a make etc?

eRRolSheep

eRRolSheep Report 18 Apr 2013 16:43

If you use the camera at its maximum resolution the drive will probably hold less than 300 images

eRRolSheep

eRRolSheep Report 18 Apr 2013 16:44

Do you mean a make of flash drive?

~`*`Jude`*`~ Report 18 Apr 2013 16:46

Rrr so when you say resolution do you mean pixels??

Yes please ....make of flash drive:)

eRRolSheep

eRRolSheep Report 18 Apr 2013 16:48

Yes I do - it's just over 14 megapixels.

As prices have tumbled so much I would go for larger storage.
I'll PM you a site I use for my photography bits and pieces that is very very cheap.

Well you could use the small disk when practising and only use the larger one for photos you actually submit.
