Sometimes I think I am going senile. I wrote a reply to this. Battery for hearing aid makes sens, battery is like (similar to) a silver threepenny bit and it makes the sound 'go up' simples

I can usually suss out what Fred is trying to tell me but he has both of us beaten today.

He was telling OH that miles nutley was happening tonight. We don't know what it is or if it's happened yet but I have other things to worry about. Tomorrow, I have to remember his sixpenny threepenny bit that opens his halfpenny and sends it up.

I know he is a bit pre-occupied because I have borrowed back his pocket money until I can get to the cashpoint and he won't rest until he gets it back but that was not what I have to remember.I think it might be something to do with his hearing aid.
