with surveys that say "82% of 153 women agreed" the product does this, that or the other, annoying lol I find myself trying to work out just how many women that is :-S

153 women, for many of these claims that is a lot. Many are less that 100.

Hardly a comprehensive study.

When you look at the number of women who disagreed, it is usually quite a lot.

18% of 153 is 28.
