Ooh - if ducks are starting to nest, I look forward to the couple who insist on nesting on the flat roof of our office building :-D

The Council hierarchy go into forty fits, as they're terrified the ducklings will fall off. Poor maintenence men are continually sent up to 'remove' the nesting pair. But ducks have wings :-D

how lovely - most interesting birds I had in my garden wer two peacocks!!! I was amazed - they were on my patio looking through the patio windows - the only peacocks I thought we had around her were in Cardiff Castle so I rang them, but the office was closed. Said peacocks jumped on the fence and into next door - eventually a guy came down the road in a jeep and collected them - they were his pets

Our village ducks visit our gardens every year at this time, and if your lucky, they will nest there. I've never had any nest in my garden, but they sometimes sit and watch the world go by.

Does that mean they'll be commandeering your pond again soon, Chris? :-D

this morning for their annual visit. Jemima and her OH Daffy Duck.

He stood there proudly watching his beloved when as usual she hoovered the lawn of seeds that had fallen off the bird table.

Think this is fourth year.
