No, I'm not referring to a well known chicken franchise, but to Karma, Fate and Chance.

On another thread I posted that we only live about 90 minutes drive from Margaret River in WA. This was done in jest, although it is true.

This afternooon, OH remembered that the choir of which she is a member is singing at a wedding to be held in the Catholic Church in MR in three week's time. We decided to have a couple of nights there (in a hotel, not the Church :-D) and managed to secure a room in the hotel adjacent to the Church for Friday and Saturday night.

Local markets are now held every Saturday, and on Sunday the local venison farm is open so that we can stock up on the way home.

Bliss!!! :-D

Karma, Fate & Chance?

Oh, sorry, I thought you were referring to a local hippie family.......... I'm sure they gave their daughters those names :-D

Allan, will you be going to the wedding service? Or checking out some of the wineries?

I'm sure you'll have a lovely weekend.

I hope the church bells don't ring too early on Sunday morning ;-)

No Church bells Scozz :-(

Not sure whether I will go to the wedding as I do not know either party, and the last time I went to Church my head kept whizzing round, and I vomited pea soup.

Most of the wineries are situated some distance from the town site, but their wines are available in town :-)

Sounds great, Allan - enjoy!!

What, Sue, the head spinning, or the vomiting? :-D :-D

Your presence at wedding will be much appreciated, I feel sure, Allan. Head spinning and green bile will make a very welcome talking point when they open their photo album in the years ahead ;-) So many are just smiles and white dresses and pretty flowers and penguins.

Oh the head spinning, Allan - it's not the done thing to vomit pea soup at a wedding and your OH will be so cross :-D

Best not to attend the wedding Allan

Green is supposed to be an unlucky colour at a wedding

Any wedding party would be unlucky to be covered with pea soup
:-D

Especially recycled pea soup :-0

Allan

It would keep the cost of the Reception down, Scozz :-D :-D

Allan your stomach will obviously not be up to rich venison so let me take it off your hands - I really will be doing you a favour and you will be making me deliriously happy.

Allan

Allan Report 1 Apr 2013 22:33

Sorry, Errol, somethings I just can't do. :-(

Besides, I may be feeling rather peckish after my projectile vomiting :-D :-D

Allan

Allan Report 1 Apr 2013 22:35

Scozz, I've just noticed your new avatar. Are those figures some of the Easter Island ones?

eRRolSheep

eRRolSheep Report 1 Apr 2013 22:36

Allan

Allan Report 1 Apr 2013 22:42

Allan

Now here's a thought:

If I did attend the wedding, with all the unfortunate ramifications, would part of the Priest's final blessing to the congregation be "Go in Peas"?

eRRolSheep

eRRolSheep Report 1 Apr 2013 22:57

stop taking the peas
