How to print full tree - need help

Hello all,
I'm fairly new to this site, and I'm not sure how to proceed. Please do not consider this a complaint - I love the site.

I have about 700 names in my tree, and would like to print the full tree, including siblings, etc, of my direct descendants, to work through with family members and just to play with, frankly. The system says I cannot do this, and the suggestion offered is to export to GEDCOM, which I've done, and import to a software package.

I've tried PAF, RootsMagic, My Heritage Family Tree and Legacy. None of these will print a full tree - at least not in the free versions. Do any of these packages print a full tree in the paid versions?

I don't care how big the output is - my local print shop can print 4 feet wide paper by as long as I want. Can I in any way convert to a PDF? a JPG? Even printing multiple (many, many) pages of letter size paper would be better than no print at all.

Please help me out. How do you print your full tree? Any suggestions or tips would be much appreciated.

Thanks in advance for your time.

Regards,

Helen Kirkup

If you want to print a full tree with 700 names then you need a professional with the correct software and printer to do it for you, try Ron an ex GR member,

Thanks, Roy. I must say I'm surprised. I suppose it's my IT background - when I put something in, I want it to come back out. It never really occurred to me that it wouldn't.

I'm in Canada, and at this point I'm too early in my learning/research to start getting stuff printed and shipped from the UK. Sounds like I may have to go back to my nasty method manually transcribing everything from here to Microsoft Visio. At least then I can get it printed locally.

Much appreciate the response - I genuinely thought it was me not figuring out how to print. You've set me straight.

Regards,
Helen
