A quick search on Googlebooks finds another by the same name by Henry Schroeder, published in 1851 Your John is also on there for anyone who is interested in reading it. Mind you, the original is far better especially for Elizabeth

Hello Everyone
Just had to share the following with you
I have a 3x gt Uncle on my paternal side who was a author/High bailiff of Leeds .
His name was John Mayhall 1830-1886
I have had a search going on for about 5 years now to find 1 of his books
THE ANNALS OF YORKSHIRE
I bid for this book through a well known auction site,it arrived this morning dated 1861
