it was on the news about kew archives they are putting thier records online including some photos and im interested to know when these will be available
my 3 x great grandfather was convicted of smuggling in his birth place beer devon
in early 1800s this was very common he also knew the famous smuggler jack rattray

Criminal register 1791-1892 are already available on Ancestry. Old Bailey records are also available 1674-1913.
