Not just driftwood, some of the dead tree roots uncovered when woodland is coppiced are natural artworks.

I am constantly on the lookout for driftwood for sculpting (bit tricky when I live just about as far from the sea as you can get!) but unfortunately people go out hunting for it and then sell it at huge prices both online and in "boutiques"
