I was looking on You Tube when I remembered a song I liked but had not heard for a very long time.Brought it up,listened to it and it has stuck.

It is called Maria Consuela by the Glaser Brothers and it sounds beautiful when Tompall Glaser sings it.

HOWEVER. It is a difficult tune with difficult word which I don't know AND I can't carry a tune in a bucket. This,naturally,does not stop me having a go.

I know the bit that goes "Maria Consuela" but not much more. There is a change of tune in the middle but I can't remember what "time is a......." is now.Can't remember what happens to the "old crones in their dry skin and bones" but it doesn't stop them getting a mention!

It's horrible but it still goes on.The hearing aids will be in their box very early today.

I just wish the tune would go away now but it won't yet.

Not until I hear 'Frosty the Snowman' anyway!

You don't want to know about my party pieces.They often involved (I have grown out of it now I hope) fists.

A couple of pints and I do the "Black Velvet Band" as well.All the way through,unstoppable!

Then,if I didn't consider they had suffered enough,it would be El Paso.

Can't think why I don't get out much!
