Went shopping Wednesday, 1st trolley sticky, 2nd trolley sticky has anyone ever seen them being cleaned, I haven't , going Monday to customer services to ask.

To-day took wet wipes, no wonder this sickness bug is thriving.

I always have a hand sanitiser in my bag. After filling up the car, shopping etc........I use it, before touching my face

Yuk Yuk Yuk!!!

I never use one of the big trollies, which children can sit in, have seen too many 'accidents'.

I am taking wipes with me next time as the norovirus is 'out there'. No, I have never seen trollies being cleaned either :-D

Sat in car at Morrison's today while partner did her shopping, could not believe how bloody lazy some people are.
I watched several women push their trolley to their cars, unload the stuff and dump the trollies either at the rear of their cars or leave them against the nearest wall....all to bloody lazy to put them in the trolley return bays. :-| :-| :-| :-| :-| :-| :-| :-| :-|

1969: Man took the first steps on the Moon. 2012: and we still have not managed to design a trolly that will steer in a straight line when full of shopping.

Naughty George!

You cant stop every virus, such as airborne viruses, but we can do our best, such as hand washing

I cant tell you how many women, leave the toilet, without washing their hands...YUK

Paula, I think all the wonky wheeled trolleys must have ended up in your neck of the woods. I haven't encountered a difficult to steer one for years :-S

Unless of course it's me that walks squiffy so I think the trolleys steer straight :-D :-D

George

George Report 15 Dec 2012 18:12

@ Island I saw something on tv that said some supermarkets were bringing old reconditioned trolleys back into circulation over the Christmas period. I think they ended up at Tesco in New Oscott as the last couple of times we have push and pulled one around, and I had not touched a drop. :-D

People pushing trollies between cars is a big bugbear of mine. I've lost count of how many times my car has been scratched, often quite badly. They are just too lazy to walk round them! :-|

The worrying thing is, if they don't know the width of their trolley and theya re looking at it, and theya re the driver!!!! Do they know the width of their car?

At my Local Tesco I asked if they sold WD40, the answer was yes ,over there sir, so I replied then would you please get some and oil the wheels of these trolleys as they hardly work. :-D Give the man his due, he did it right away to quite a lot of them.
