English singer Morrissey has taken aim at the British royal family, blaming them for the circumstances which lead to the suicide of nurse Jacintha Saldanha.

Saldanha a nurse at King Edward VIII Hospital, was found dead in her flat days after being caught up in a prank call by a pair of Australian DJs.

Hosts of a countdown show on 2Day FM Melanie Greig and Michael Christian appeared live on an Australian news show yesterday to explain themselves after a prank call with the pair impersonating The Queen and Prince Charles backfired.

Saldanha was said to have picked up the phone when the pair called, and forwarded it through the ward where a pregnant Duchess of Cambridge was being treated for Hyperemesis Gravidarum - acute morning sickness.

On New Zealand television ahead of his tour, known anti-monarchist Morrissey has apportioned the blame of Saldanha's suicide on the Duchess for being in hospital .

''Even with the recent story about the nurse killing herself in King Edward Hospital, there's no blame placed on Kate Middleton, who was in the hospital as far as I could see for absolutely no reason,'' he told 3News.

''She feels no shame about the death of this woman, she's saying nothing about the death of this poor woman. The arrogance of the British royals is staggering, absolutely staggering. And why it's allowed to be I really don't know,'' Morrissey said.

As soon as news of the suicide broke, both Prince William and Middleton released a statement expressing their sorrow at Saldanha's death.

Hyperemesis Gravidarum can be life-threatening if left untreated, and causes severe dehydration.

Morrissey however remained unconvinced Middleton's condition was a real one.

''Does she have a health condition...? What is the health condition? I mean morning sickness already? So much hoo haw and then suddenly as bright as a button as soon as this poor woman dies she's out of hospital? It doesn't ring true.

''And I'm sure the Palace and Clarence House put maximum pressure on this poor receptionist and nurse, and of course that's kept away from the press.

"I'm sure the British press hounded this poor woman to her death, that's kept away.

''And by this time next week she'll be forgotten. And that's how the British royals work.''

(CNN) -- A man trying to create a Bigfoot hoax on a highway died after being hit by two cars, officials in Montana said.

Randy Lee Tenley dressed in a Ghillie suit -- camouflage designed to resemble heavy foliage -- and stepped out onto Highway 93 Sunday night, officials said.

"He probably would not have been very easy to see at all," said Jim Schneider, a state trooper.

A 15-year-old girl hit him with her car, another car swerved, and a third car driven by a 17-year-old ran him over, CNN affiliate KECI reported.

Tenley was "well into the driving lane," and according to his companions he was "attempting to incite a sighting of Bigfoot -- to make people think they had seen a Sasquatch," Schneider said in the KECI report.

But authorities received no calls from drivers thinking they had seen Bigfoot, the station reported.

Officials with Montana Highway Patrol District 6, which includes Flathead County where the incident took place, said Schneider was not available for comment Tuesday and that the official report on the incident had not yet been filed.

The county coroner's office did not immediately return a call from CNN.

The parents of a 13-year-old Missouri girl who hanged herself after a failed MySpace romance — later uncovered as a hoax — say they have yet to receive an apology from the family they blame for their daughter’s death.

“They’ve absolutely offered no apologies,” Ron Meier told TODAY co-host Matt Lauer on Monday. “They sent us a letter in the mail, basically saying that they might feel a little bit of responsibility, but they don’t feel no guilt or remorse or anything for what they did.”

Rather, said Tina Meier, the people are upset with her for going public with their story. Last week, while shopping, she ran into the woman who invented the hoax, Tina Meier said.

“She asked me to stop doing all of this,” she told Lauer. “I told her that we would not stop, that we were going to continue for justice for Megan because we knew what they did.”

The Meiers’ daughter, Megan, hanged herself Oct. 16, 2006.

The Meiers have not named the people because they do not want to identify their teenage daughter, who had once been a friend of Megan’s.

After the two girls had a falling out, the mother invented a 16-year-old boy, “Josh Evans,” created a MySpace account for him, and made Megan believe he was new in town and thought she was cool.

Oh, Mom, you don’t understand’
Megan, a girl who had battled attention deficit disorder, depression and a weight problem for much of her young life, believed him, despite her mother’s warnings to be cautious.

“That was always the talk,” Tina Meier told Lauer, repeating the conversations she had with her daughter: “‘Megan, c’mon, we don’t even know this person. Let’s not get too excited.’ She’d say, ‘Oh, Mom, you don’t understand.’ So I did talk to her daily about that. But children at this age, they don’t think that.”

And then the boy turned on Megan, leading a campaign of vilification and online name-calling that ended when Megan took her own life.

For a year, the Meiers kept quiet at the request of both the FBI and local law enforcement officials while they investigated the incident.
.
Ultimately, investigators told the Meiers that while the hoax was cruel, it was not criminal.

The son of a 67-year-old man from Yonkers, New York, who shot himself, believes his father committed suicide after realizing that he felt victim to a 419 scam that cost him over $50,000.

Peter Circelli, says that after his father's death he discovered emails suggesting that he was romantically involved with a woman from Ghana, who called herself Aisha.

The communications and accompanying receipts for Western Union money transfers to the African country were going back months, but Peter claims no one knew of the secret affair his father Al had with the alleged woman.

"They say Ghana, $300. Ghana, $200," he told ABC News. "We've added them all up and they come to the sum of $50,000."

According to the emails, Aisha wanted to move to the United States and start a new life together with the man, but she needed money to cover expenses.

The money were always received on the woman's behalf by a friend named Nulu Suleman, but this didn't seem to bother Al Circelli, who was blinded by his newly found romance.

When the man ran out of money, he stopped making mortgage payments and set up credit cards in his son's name without his knowledge.

Circelli took his own life the day Aisha was supposed to arrive in America. Obviously she didn't show up. Instead, he got an email from Suleman, informing him that she had "blown her head off".

"It can't be tracked. These people are like ghosts and the damage these people have caused, they shouldn't be able to cause in other people's lives," Peter Circelli said.

"To see him go down like this, to think there are other families who might have to go through something like this, I have to open my mouth. I can't hide no more," he added.

Unfortunately, this isn't the first time an Internet scam ends tragically. Last year we reported about a Canadian man who died in a clinic in the Philippines, while waiting for a kidney transplant he thought he secured over the Internet.
