Better Idea than that John, Get all the Trash mail together Swop envelopes ,then post them off so the different companies get other peoples offers ( Removing your own name and address) **M**. :-D :-D :-D

Thanks Carol :-D

Son had a letter from Capital One again this morning (second in a fornight) offering him credit at 34.9% APR for those "with poor credt." Well, he has a job, runs a nice car all paid for and has ISA and money in bank. And, apart from student loan, has never had credit and never needed it. Lucky boy (and good-looking and single at 27 and has no girl friend currently, ladies)

Premium number to stop this irritation. So put "not known at this address" and returned it in pre-paid first class Capital One envelope. Name was slightly wrong, so not lying. ;-)

Had same call. I pushed Button 5 immediately and got a cheque for £953, 298.

Quite happy to share with any Genes friends. If anyone wants to share in my good fortune, please ring my home telphoen number and press Button 5 ;-)

Must dash. Got to ring about a failed courier delivery and phone my new best friend in Cote d'Ivoire.

ps These scams seem much more common at moment. Possibly Christmas coming and financial pressure on many toe-rags.

the lady informed me that I had monies to claim back and the longer I took the less the amount would be - don't know what she was talking about or what company she was from (English accent) but downed phone and no way was I going to push button 5!!

Anyone know what this scam is about?
