I thought some of her songs were in too high a key for her....that's me speaking as a musician.....as I do like mezzos rather than sopranos,and when she sang arias from operas she had a beautiful voice..in fact I used to compare her with Charlotte Church who went over to pop and ruined her reputation in more ways than one.

I also thought like Barbs that Il Divo weren't up to their usual form...could have been the mixing,but they sounded a bit off key and harsh.

We were at sons and sport rules there so some sport or other was on so we didn't watch it. But I can take or leave her. Sometimes I like her, sometimes she seems too good to be true and sometimes I don't even like her voice.

I agree with AnnCardiff, can't stand her, so obviously didn't watch it.

I think the microphones were a bit off too Ann cause Il Divo have sounded better.

I think she's a drama queen and far too sugary sweet - when she sang some Vera Lynn song - We'll meet again" I think, she was well off key

OH is a big fan of hers but like Brenda he says it was a bit OTT.

Her dancing was great and learned a lot on Dancing with the Stars in the USA.
her appearance has changed a bit or was that the make-up.

Years back there was always a good family entertainment show on Sunday nights with all different acts too. They should bring that sort of thing back

Reading up about their split It seems that it was Katherine who broke up the relationship and Gethin has never really got over it .she was so ambitious that she didn't fancy settling down to marriage and a family...which is understandable when you have such talent...but feel sorry for him.I just hope she can find happiness as show business can be a very lonely career.

We both think she has it all - talent, beauty, brains and now money and hope in time she will have happiness. She was very broken up when she and Gethin split.

I felt that all the split to thigh gowns and the american tango were a way of saying - hey you, see what you have lost'.

She goes to Afghanistan to troops before Christmas - they will go wild if she wears some of those gowns - a big booster for the lads/lasses.

She is on my pedestal of Welsh treasures - alongside Stan Stennett, Harry Secombe, Ruth Madoc and Iris Williams. And quite a few others :-D

I have mixed feelings about her...my late OH was a fan as he liked opera and she is a lovely mezzo soprano.
She can dance too,,,but is she taking on too much and being too ambitious?.
I enjoyed the show to a point,but it was a bit OTT for me and didn't think the pianist sketch was necessary.
Was reading about her break with Gethin Jones and think that maybe fame has gone to her head??

I love her singing but there is something about it all that I don't like.
She looks more like a barbie doll!.
I thought that it was going to be a good programme but I also didn't like the pianist sketch and the "comedian!!

I enjoyed the show too and admired her dancing, she was very good and the mix of songs and guests was entertaining too
I think the sketch with Katherine singing Over the Rainbow with the pianist was funny and shows she can poke fun at herself too

Should be more shows like that

What a lovely show we enjoyed this evening - it was excellent. Put us both in mind of when there were regular shows on tv that the whole family could enjoy.

She is a talented girl - was dancing tonight and making a good job of it also.
