Oh poor bird, using up precious energy and getting a plastic spider! What a let down.

Commonly known as spider plant.

I have a few of these.

Two are on the front porch in hanging baskets - I can see them from the study window.

As a joke, I hung some plastic spiders from the basket.

I just watched a bird land on the basket and steal a plastic spider!

I'm wondering if it is the same bird who pecked the legs off the frogs
