tell me does anyone else get frustrated with this websits I have just signed up again after a long break and have sent at leased 30 emails the may have a connection to people in my tree I have also given out my email address to help but I have had only one reply I know some have been view and have still not replied why are they on this site if they dont want to find out about their family. |

The topic comes up every week practically...and one of the answers is that some people DON'T want to have contact with other people, they use the site for other reasons. perhaps because it's 'their ' tree and they want to do all the research themselves or (especially if they have a large tree with lots of people at the end of 'twigs' ) don't want any info on people not in their direct line ( 2nd cousins 3 times removed for example). |

Lynn, I know how you feel. A guy got in touch with me asking about a relative and asking could I send him all I knew about her and could he see my tree. I did this, sorted out some photos I had of this relation and sent them to him.He let me see his tree so I know he is a distant relation. But that was a couple of months ago and Ihavnt heard even a thank you fron him. :-( :-( |
