I learn something new everyday. I have been battoning my carrots for decades and never knew. I'm a bit posh now.

Cant see the point in broccoli either. :-\

not a veg lover as such,,,,have to fancy it ,,,,like chopped savoy with roast lamb,,,,,,,or few sprouts with pork,

dont like peas,,,,or leeks or carrots (only in stews) dont mind smashed carrots and swede but again a fancy thing....I do cook veg most days just I dont have any.........loads of meat,,,lots of yorkies and nice made gravy,,,,,,dont eat puddings either..... :-D
