Are there any floods where you are.

I´m in the Murcia region and Wend is staying Almeria both are areas that have been in the news, but luckily we both are in lesser hit areas for floods. The rain was horrendous mind and for the 1st time since we have been here OH said the road to work was under water even after the rain had eased off.
I have heard from Wend so I do know she was okay yesterday evening. Just hoping that like us she has had brilliant sunshine again today.

I'm back! Like a little drowned rat I is after all that rain in Spain falling mainly on the plain. Flight delayed a few hours, but I'm home sweet home at last. Now I'm off to my own lovely bed and will report back tomorrow >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

I weren't expecting you back till the weekend which is why i didn't send Island round to put hot water botties in yer bed and flick the duster round.

Glad you are safely back Wend. I hope not too wet mind the sun has been shining since you left ;-). Thank heavens we chose the Thursday to meet up and not the weekend !

I wasn't expecting you until tomorrow so haven't organised Prickles and Dizzi with the dusting.

Evening all :-D I'm almost back to normal and it's great to see you all again. I've missed you. I see my attempt at posting on the 28th Sept on his lordship's i-phone didn't quite work - there's a whole section missing. Took me ble@@y ages too :-(

Anyway, apart from floods and devastation for the last few days in Almeria, we had a great time and the highlight was meeting up with Uzzi, her lovely man and 2 sweet doggies. As she said, husband's and doggies were very well behaved and we all had a ball. Uzzi bought me a lovely pair of silk pantaloons in fuschia pink with a couple of purple flowers embroidered on them, which I'm going to try and turn into a dress. Pantaloons on me are not a good look I think, but I love the colour so much. Thanks Uzzi.

By the way, health warning! Uzzi's coming over to the Isle of Wight for a fortnight in November, if anyone's up for another Portsmouth meet!
