I didnt know that Muffy,
I think its dreadfull so called celebrities naming their children,just to be different.
Any unusual name/old fashioned names,I could understand,
but FOX,!!!!!!!!!!

think they can refuse to register any name they wont do devil wonder how many registrars question the parents on chosen names.

i actually love it when celebs give their children 'normal' names. Mind you she will be able to spell it easily when she goes to school

I couldn't agree more, PP. It's not funny for the child throughout life.
Only the child knows the ridicule etc, to which he / she was subjected.
Perhaps the child truly prefers to forget about childhood, too!

I recall - perhaps in the 1970s - a registrar refused to register the name 'Princess' for a bloke.
There was quite a brew - ha ha about it, I remember.
I think the registrar was right.
However, I don't know if the registrar can legally refuse to do that in today's PC world!

Foxie is hardly an appropriate nickname for a child let alone how she will be treated when older.

Some parents really do need to stop and think about the names of their children, how they will be shortened or lengthened.

Even some of Frank Zappa's children changed their names. As did Zowie Bowie!!

Apple wouldnt be my choice but can understand that more than Fox bet she will be called Foxie.

Mark Owen's wife has just given birth to a little girl.........Fox India.

Sounds like a TV channel to me but hey.....it's their choice. lol

I still think you'd have to go some to top Apple for most way out celeb baby name...what do you think?
