I am guessing that where Hayley put 'us this" (not 'use' Dutch) ...she meant to put '.....tell us this'? apologies to Hayley if she didn't :-D

I have had a few cases where a hand made card with 'standout' bits ( can't think of a proper term lol) have been opened, also ordinary ones in the past that had been sent with money in which disappeared, a relative who used to send £5 notes to young relatives found they all went missing one Christmas, all posted at her local office.

NEVER SEND MONEY THROUGH THE POST

That is the warning given here.

It's elementary ..................

............ send money, especially coins, through the post and you are tempting fate every single time.

A cousin in England often sends me info about places of mutual interest that she has visited, usually in A4 sized envelopes.
Over the past year or so, they have invariably been opened (slit, not torn).
I´ve been blaming the Spanish postal workers, but from what Dutch says, the problem looks to originate in England.

At first I wondered if the decoration showed up in the screening as 'unexplained'., but you've said it was empty.

Even if this was the case, you'd have thought the re-sealing would have some sort of offical customs/security/post office labelling on it.

Trouble is, the opening could have happened anywhere between the post box near Gatwick and your home. :-(

She hasnt heard as far as i know, and im sure Joyce will explain, but i will say nobody sending a white envelope has done anything at all quite the contrary.

Iwill give Joyce a call in a bit to see if she has heard anymore.
